It is said that Rome is not like any other city. It's a big museum, a living room that shall be crossed on one's toes. Rome is beautiful and with that the capital city of Italy. It is most famous for its amazing architecture worldwide.


Located at the center of city of Rome is this oval shaped amphitheater known as Colosseum. It is also known as Flavian Amphitheater.


The best preserved Roman building is the Pantheon, former Roman temple and now a church. The Pantheon has a tremendous influence on the western architecture.

Aventine Hill

A quiet yet with historic interest is the Aventine Hill. Aventine Hill is one of the seven hills on which Rome was built. The place offer's you with perfect picturesque view.

Castel Sant'Angelo

It was built as a mausoleum for Emperor Hadrian, also known as Hadrianeum or Sepulcrum Antoninorum. The structure is an important tourist attraction as it has been a fortress, a papal residence, a prison and at the end, it is a museum today.

Piazza del Popolo

The urban square is said to be the door to Rome. The name itself says People's Square. An Egyptian obelisk is the center piece of the square, with two Basilicas on one side.

Pyramid of Caius Cestius

Egyptian tomb built by the Romans. The pyramid is situated at the heart of the Rome. The pyramid looks like a modern art. Rome has it own pyramid, kind of a interesting find.

Roman Forum

Roman Forum was originally the market place of the ancient city. It is surrounded by the ruins of several important ancient government buildings. The place is big and the original architecture is still intact.

Saint Peter's Square

In the Vitican city is the Saint Peter's Square. Exactly in front of the square there stand the beautiful ST. Peter's Basilica.
