Things That You Can Carry While Travelling To Canada

Things that you can bring to Canada -

Food items can be taken with you to Canada but ensure that it is dried and packaged food.

A relief for smokers i must say, you are allowed to carry about 50 cigars or 200 cigarettes.

Amount of alcohol that you can carry duty free -

• 24 bottles of beer or
• 40 ounces of liquor or
• 1.5 liters of wine

You can take your pets along with you only if your pet is vaccinated and you need to have dated certificate of the same.

Packaged food can be taken along but fruits, vegetables and animal products are some things that you cannot carry.

Living organism like minnows, leeches, smelts, or leeches are not allowed.

Short hand guns of about 32 or 25 caliber, automatic weapons, ammunition, AK-47 and mace and pepper spray are not allowed. Some weapons you can carry depending on the event purpose (official hunting or sporting even) with permission border official and with completion of a non-resident firearms declaration form 

Though it is legal between adults in Canada but it is still illegal to carry cannabis on you tour to Canada, even if you have prescription for the same.
