A famous Bollywood Movie Betaab was shot in a valley in Pahalgam, hence the name "Betaab Valley". Rather than the bollywood factor, it is really a very fascinating view through the valley.
Pahalgam has various shopping options like shawls, carpets, woolens & clothings with the famous " Kashida Work"- chain stitch from kashmir. You can also buy the famous Pashmina Shawl. Its too heavy on the pocket, but original Pashmina is worth it!
